ABOUT WINGIN' IT SEASON 2
Wingin' It is a half-hour tween live-action comedy series that follows the misadventures of teenage odd couple - Carl Montclaire (Dylan Everett, How to be Indie) a typical teenager trying to survive high school, and ‘Angel-in-Training' (A.I.T.) Porter Jackson (Demetrius Joyette, The Latest Buzz) who is trying to earn his angel wings by making Carl the most popular guy in school.
In the second season, Carl is still trying to survive high school, while Porter continues to iron out the kinks in his magic. In the process, the two get into a lot of exciting and wacky escapades. From zombie doubles, body swapping, getting stuck in Jane's computer and trying to find their way out of Alex's dreams, it's a roller coaster of angel hijinks! Plus, there's a new A.I.T. at Bennett High and she could be the one person to make the unflappable Porter Jackson lose his cool. Join Carl, Porter and the whole gang as they continue their misadventures on Wingin' It!
Wingin' It also engages viewers each season with the possibility of influencing story content by voting for alternate endings, engaging the cast on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, and releasing videos with cast members from the show.

"We are on cloud 9 about being nominated for the Shaw Rocket Prize! With Wingin' It we wanted to create a show that is honest about the challenges that kids face in high school, but also celebrates the daily triumphs of getting through it! We also added opportunities for our viewers to directly interact with the show through voting for their favourite endings, chats with our characters and online games. I think the true appeal of the show is that we all wish we had a guardian angel helping us along - even though as we see on the show, being an angel in training has its difficulties too."

5 LITTLE KNOWN FACTS ABOUT WINGIN' IT:
- Gobsmack Juice is a fictitious product. The show however pretends it's a real product by doing tons of ‘product placement' with it as if the show was sponsored by the juice.
- Alex is obsessed with Chantecler Chickens. The Chantecler is Canada's only breed of chicken. It is endangered and a heritage breed and producer Frank van Keeken raises Chanteclers on his farm north of Toronto.
- Jane Casey was given the surname of one of the writers on the show.
- The weapon used in the Cosmonaut Claire episodes is a "Vukcevikian Blaster" and it was named after one of the writer's assistants from season one and two, Filip Vukcevic.
- Carl's case number, that Porter is assigned to in the pilot, is the phone number of a girl Frank van Keeken had a crush on in grade three.
